The National Aquarium, Qawra Point Beach and Bugibba Beach (perfect for soaking up the sun) are both a 15-minute walk from the apartment. For history enthusiasts, the imposing Bugibba Battery is a 15-minute walk away and offers a glimpse into Malta's military past and a short drive (20 minutes) will take you to the ancient Megalithic Temples of Malta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the historic city of Mdina. The area is a popular tourist resort with many bars, clubs and restaurants.
